Whilst the last few months have forced many changes for all of us, the desire to spend time with family and friends is more apparent than ever. The importance of spending time with loved ones and the longing to create everlasting memories resonates with us all.
Oxfordshire has never looked so glorious. My team of gardeners have continued to nurture Le Manoir grounds so our guests can make the most of exploring the enchanting gardens. The organic herb and vegetable gardens are bursting with colour, and delicious fragrances fill the air, whilst guests can find sanctuary in the peaceful Japanese water garden hidden amongst the trees. There are secluded perches to sit and enjoy the wildflower meadow and it’s easy to lose yourself amongst our magnificent orchard, laden with ripened fruit.
Hoping that the weather allows, drinks will be served on the terrace and topped up whilst enjoying a stroll in the gardens. The delicious seasonal menu offers guests the choice of six or seven courses, alongside the exceptional wine list that houses many of my favourites.
For the many who may have used the past few months to brush up on garden skills and wish to learn a little more, The Raymond Blanc Garden School has re-opened its doors and the course dates are listed here.
For those with a renewed passion for cooking during the past months, there is a huge repertoire to discover in The Raymond Blanc Cookery School. The summer barbecue courses will be available from July, taught in the garden for the ultimate ‘Summer Soiree’ experience.
We look forward to welcoming you back to your Oxfordshire home soon.
