Dear Friends


On 14th March we shared a moment of joy as we celebrated Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons’ 36th birthday. However, for the time being, it is with heartfelt sadness that our beloved Le Manoir will be temporarily closed. This is to protect both our guests and our team as we are facing this unprecedented pandemic. I already miss all Le Manoir’s friends, my brilliant colleagues, those great professionals, who everyday create the magic✨


If you have not already heard from us, my team will be in touch with you in the days and weeks to follow to help reschedule your visit and assist with any enquiries you may have.


We will also talk with you via our social media channels, where we will share stories of the ongoing life at Le Manoir when we can.


As many of you know, I celebrated my 70th birthday a few months ago, so, like all of us that can, I will continue to self-isolate. From my home, I will start writing a new little book and I will be cooking lots of wholesome and delicious food. I will be sharing some recipes which I hope will inspire you to recreate in your home.


Meanwhile, we will continue to give our gardens all the love we can as they remain the heart of Le Manoir and the canvas of our gastronomy. Underneath the dark earth, seeds are ready to burst into life to produce a bounty of herbs and vegetables which we will soon be serving to you.


We are taking each day as it comes; always trying to add a little joy to our lives. Soon, there will be a time to reopen our doors. The whole team led by Eveline will be preparing the house to give you and your loved ones the greatest welcome.  And with you, we will embrace life again, the beautiful food and “la joie de vivre”.
