BBC series 'The Restaurant - the winners'

After seven eventful weeks running their restaurants, the two surviving couples came head to head in the final. Their most demanding challenge yet saw the couples battle with cramped conditions and the most discerning guests to provide a sumptuous five course meal for 40 guests aboard 'the best of the best'; the Orient Express.

The eventual winners were Michele and Russell, who will have the opportunity to open a restaurant in partnership with Raymond.

Alasdair and James were the disappointed runners-up, although Raymond left them in no doubt that he believes they have a shining future ahead of them.
