The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, will meet with Raymond Blanc and some of his new apprentices hired as part of the top chef and restaurateur’s backing of the Mayor’s drive to boost apprenticeships in the capital.
The Mayor, who is on track to smash his target of delivering 100,000 apprenticeships in London, will join Raymond and apprentices to prepare a dish and to issue a rallying call to the capital’s £17 billion food and hospitality industry to get more young Londoners employed in the sector.
