Le Manoir wins four awards at the
Springboard Awards for Excellence 2012
18 October 2012
The 2012 Awards were held in London on Thursday 18 October at the Novotel. Le Manoir had entered and was shortlisted in four of the 16 categories and won in each category:
- The Education Pipeline Award
- Best Student Placement Provider
- Best Recruitment Initiative
- Young People Award
The Springboard Awards are the industry equivalent of The Oscars for HR and L&D. No one has ever won four awards on the same night in the ten year history of the awards.
Philip Newman-Hall, General Manager of Le Manoir, attended the awards ceremony with Julia Murrell, Jennie Atkins, Emma Dickson, Liz Jones, Mark Peregrine, Jason Woods and Claire Wilson to represent Raymond Blanc and the team at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. Following the awards and Le Manoir's outstanding achievement in winning in all four categories, Philip said:
"Although these awards are all based around HR and L&D none of them could have been achieved without the ongoing help and support of every HOD and their teams in providing a nurturing and yet challenging learning environment for all youngsters coming into Le Manoir.
My thanks of course go to Julia Murrell and her team and Mark Peregrine and his team but they still need all of you to win awards such as these.
A really proud moment for Raymond Blanc and all of us here at Le Manoir and lets see what we can do to increase the tally in 2013!"
DVD of Raymond Blanc's hugely successful five part series - The Very
Hungry Frenchman - broadcast on BBC2 earlier this year, is now on sale.
