Brasserie Blanc to open Cardiff restaurant in city centre church
16 September 2010

It has just been announced that Cardiff city planners have given the go-ahead for work to begin on a new Brasserie Blanc, which will occupy the premises of the former Ebenezer Church on Charles Street.
The 19th-century Grade II listed building will be home to two restaurants and office space.
The addition of Blanc’s brasserie to the city centre dining scene has
been welcomed by food writer and food school owner Angela Gray who told
said:
“It’s great news that Raymond Blanc could be coming to Cardiff. It’s nice to see that Jamie Oliver has put local produce like Welsh
lamb on the menu in his Cardiff restaurant and I know Raymond Blanc
would do the same. I think he will go out of his way to use local
produce.”
Blanc describes his chain as the lively “can can” dance to the delicate waltz of his Michelin-starred flagship diner.
