A busy time for Maison Blanc
A new Maison Blanc in Henley, a new range of Raymond Blanc patisseries and new Breakfast and Lunch menus.
The last few months have been particularly busy for Raymond Blanc and the team at Maison Blanc – four new stores have opened; Hampstead, Burford and Winchester and this month Henley has opened its doors.
Working closely with the team, Raymond has been integral to the development of the new Maison Blanc summer menu which is bursting with exciting new flavours. Recognised for his commitment to seasonality, freshness and searching for the very best flavours, Raymond’s advice has enabled Maison Blanc to develop a selection of new dishes.
The summer menu, available now in stores, includes a selection of Raymond’s personal favourites – crisp salads such as a goats cheese and ripe fig with golden raisin dressing and a smoked salmon and crayfish salad with a crème fraîche, dill and lemon dressing. He admits his weakness is the saucisson and brie baguette, served warm with a hint of Dijon Mustard.
He has also just developed three new patisseries; his classic strawberry tart with vanilla cream, a cherry and pistachio crumble tart and the lightest tiramisu.
To ensure customers have the very best start to the day, a new breakfast menu has been introduced across most stores. Sourcing ethical produce wherever possible, all Maison Blanc viennoiserie uses free-range eggs and their smoked salmon is sourced from Scottish suppliers. Amongst the breakfast offering are soft boiled eggs, served with toasted Pain Maison and organic yoghurt with granola and fresh fruit compote.
Sandwiches and salads are made in the stores each day and every salad has an individual dressing created to compliment the ingredients. The baguettes, croissants and Viennoiserie are also baked daily.
