Introducing the new Chanterelle range of Tableware
by Raymond Blanc for John Lewis
Inspired by the delicate detail of a Chanterelle mushroom, Raymond Blanc has created a range of tableware in collaboration with one of the world’s top ceramic design
houses ‘Studio Levien’. The inspiration for the design came from the
gardens of Raymond’s Two-Michelin-Star restaurant, Le Manoir aux
Quat'Saisons, where he and the team from Studio Levien spent some time
developing the concept for the tableware.

Raymond was fully involved with the project from the concept to final
production. He says; “I wanted to create a fine china tableware range
suitable for every day but also for entertaining. Working closely with
Robin Levien and his team we have been able to create a design which
incorporates the fine detail and sensuality we wanted to achieve, whilst
keeping the durability and functionality needed for every day
tableware. The texture on a selection of the items is inspired by one of
nature’s most subtle designs, the delicate gills of the underside of a
Chanterelle mushroom, thus giving the collection its name”.

The full range of Chanterelle tableware is available to buy from John Lewis stores nationwide or online at www.johnlewis.com
Raymond Blanc's new book, Kitchen Secrets,
featuring recipes from Kitchen Secrets Series 1 & 2 and many more,
was published by Bloomsbury on 14 February and is available to buy from Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Brasserie Blanc, Maison Blanc, online and from bookstores.
