The Forgotten Foods initiative gives a voice to small-scale producers and encourages consumers to rediscover the UK’s fabulous home-grown foods, many of which are in danger of slipping off the culinary landscape – so come in and try them and help us ensure they remain part of our food heritage.

RAYMOND BLANC & BORIS JOHNSON LAUNCH NEW APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME

At Brasserie Blanc Threadneedle St, Mayor Boris Johnson and Raymond Blanc called on London's hospitality industry to take on more young apprentices.
The Mayor hopes to see 250,000 new roles for apprentices in London and has a major focus on the capital's restaurants and hotels.  Raymond and Brasserie Blanc have already taken on four new apprentices who appeared at the launch today and will be taking on another 17 across the country before the summer.

Brasserie Blanc St Paul’s last night played host tonight to a lively auction in aid of the Lady Taverners. The Metro has launched a competition for ten lucky winners (and a guest) to win cooking lessons with Raymond Blanc. 

Blanc plans to join ‘a massive can-can’ in the piazza at London’s Covent Garden later this month, to mark the opening of Brasserie Blanc restaurant there. To prove themselves worthy however, entrants will have to upload an image of their own attempt at a can-can.

Monday night saw the official opening of our fabulous new brasserie at Tower Hill – opposite the Tower of London.

The evening started with Raymond joining the new team for a group photo then it was downstairs to the ‘Little B’ private dining room for the party.  Guests of honour included the Chief Yeoman Warder and Jailer from the Tower plus senior invited guests from surrounding businesses.
