Welcoming Clarins to Le Manoir

Hello friends

What a joy to welcome the very elegant and upmarket Clarins group led by President and CEO of Clarins Laboratories & Clarins Logistics, Lionel de Benetti, and accompanied by Marketing Director Dorothy Speed and Shoshana Gillis – Head of Press & Public Relations. Imagine… 20 beautiful and elegant ladies (plus one gentleman) and many of the leading lifestyle writers descending on Le Manoir, staying in the gorgeous rooms ,experiencing the best of Clarins through the treatments and massages…

But also experiencing all that Le Manoir has to offer, connecting with all the senses: a true and engaging smile, perfumed gardens inspired by my travels, the glorious food, flaky buttery croissants for breakfast or the whiff of lemongrass in the crab ravioli, the gentle fire of the paprika, the first autumnal tastes and the last summer textures ...a true feast of the senses…. they enjoyed it all.

What was most remarkable was the spirit of the group, their engagement in the joie vivre of the bon vivant. The feast was both elegant and celebratory; it was so heartwarming to see a top brand and their guests acting according to their own philosophy.

To general demand, I ended up cooking in The Raymond Blanc Cookery School. A simple steak Maman Blanc… and, with gusto, these gorgeous ladies ate every morsel...and wanted more!

A day to remember for its fun and also to know that a luxury brand can enjoy life completely without in any way compromising their brand values. I am very much looking forward to welcoming Clarins back to Le Manoir and to giving them another day to remember.
