The 50 Best Restaurants in the World

Hello friends

On Monday, it was the San Pellegrino - 50 Best Restaurants in the World. I was pleased to be a guest there, and went along with Mourad, our Directeur de restaurant at Le Manoir. We went to a fabulous venue - the Guildhall in the City of London - to celebrate the event.

The champagne by Veuve Clicquot was perfect, meeting old and new friends too. And I must say bravo to all the chefs. A few injustices from previous years have been corrected, such as Michel Bras great cuisine... and
congratulations to Heston to make it to the top 5 again, without forgetting
our lovely friend Andoni Louis Aduriz  from Mugaritz.

Afterwards, though, I went home to make myself a fat omelette with
melting Comte and a lovely glass of Pinot Noir from my native Burgundy! Sometimes the simple things are the best!

The top five restaurants were:

5 The fat duck
4 Francescana
3 Mugaritz
2 El Celler de Can Roca
1 Noma

Best
