Raymond receives the Relais & Chateaux Innovation Trophy 2011
at the R&C Conference in Cape Town, South Africa
Last night, on behalf of Le Manoir I received the "Innovation Trophy" award at the Relais & Chateaux Congress in Cape Town.
I particularly prize this award, as it acknowledges an approach, a constant reappraisal and reinvention of oneself and one's business. It rewards creativity; whether it is the initiative of the "eco brigade" at Le Manoir or the creation of new gardens, a new orchard, new rooms, a cuisine which stands year after year at the forefront of British gastronomy.
